New Year open-air celebrations at “Yuzhny” microdistrict

The most favorite holidays of people, Christmas-tide, passed. This year, as always, these days were the hottest season for the workers of Culture Palace. A series of New Year events was opened by cheerful festival for infants “St Nicholas has come to us” in the park. Children of kinder-garden and general education secondary junior school №4 had a good time with Veselinka, Snow-man and St Nicholas. Nobody was set aside and everybody has began believing in miracles again.

New Year winter fairy-tail “Wonderland trip” didn`t leave any spectator indifferent. It is of interest to note that young talented guys, Danyl Fisun and Maksim Skripnichenko, acted in the fairy-tale. Children wearing carnival costumes have made this festival even more bright. And, of course, Santa Claus has given sweet presents to everybody. The main goal, to make children happy with festival and long-expected presents, was achieved. On December, 31, in the park, Santa Claus and Snow Maiden greeted children near beautiful Christmas tree, played with them, sang New Year songs, reeled, gave presents. Santa`s mail was working in Culture Palace in December. Children were bringing their letters hoping their New Year dreams will come true.

In New Year, on January, 6, ceremonial festival “Christmas carol has brought holiday” took place in the park. Spectators and participants of the festival happily were taking part in traditional conquests, ceremonial fortune-telling, games, helped themselves with kutia.

Workers of Culture Palace have put the most efforts to make New Year and Christmas holiday remain in everybody`s memory for a year. They will be happy to meet their spectators at future events. Because on February, 19, open-air celebration “Shrovetide” with traditional stake of presents, funny competitions and tasty pancakes will take place in the park.
