Physical form
Electrode of efs-b type is a cylindric casting of corrosion-resistant iron-silicon alloy (ferrosilyd) with multiwire copper cable attached to the contact unit.
Electrode of efs-v type is a metal casing in which the casting of corrosion-resistant iron-silicon alloy (ferrosilyd) is placed in activator mixture with multiwire copper cable attached to the contact unit.
Electrode of efs-g type is a cross-type casting of corrosion-resistant iron-silicon alloy (ferrosilyd) with multiwire copper cable attached to the contact unit.

Field of use
The electodes are included into the scope of supply of earth connection and are intended to operate in earth as anodes to protect underground metal constructions and communications from electrochemical corrosion as well as to earth the direct current transmission lines.
Guaranteed service period
No less than 30 years from the date of putting into service.
